Havanese Products

The Havanese is a small breed of dog known for its lively and friendly personality. Originally from Cuba, the Havanese was developed from bichon-type dogs brought to the island by Spanish colonizers in the 16th century. The breed became popular among Cuban aristocrats and was known for its ability to perform tricks and entertain guests.  During the Cuban Revolution, many Havanese dogs were brought to the United States by refugees, and the breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1996.  Havanese dogs have become popular among celebrities and famous owners, including actress Reese Witherspoon, who has a Havanese named Pepper, and former First Lady Barbara Bush, who had a Havanese named Miss Beazley.  Havanese dogs are known for their intelligence and trainability, making them popular as both companion and show dogs. They have a long, silky coat that requires regular grooming, and are known for being hypoallergenic, making them a good choice for people with allergies. Havanese dogs are also known for their affectionate and outgoing personalities, and make great family pets.
