A famous Tibetan Mastiff named Big Splash made headlines in 2011 when it was sold in China for a record $1.5 million, highlighting the breed’s rarity and prestige. Historically, these dogs were treasured by royalty and spiritual leaders in Tibet, symbolizing strength and protection.
