Pit Bull Products

Pit bulls are a type of dog that includes American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers. These dogs have a reputation for being strong, athletic, and protective, but they are also often associated with aggression due to their use in dog fighting.  The history of the pit bull can be traced back to the 19th century, when they were bred for bull and bear baiting. However, as these sports became illegal, pit bulls were instead used for dog fighting. Today, many pit bulls are beloved family pets, and organizations such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) advocate for responsible ownership and rehabilitation of pit bulls who have been mistreated or abused.  Famous pit bull owners include actor Jamie Foxx, who adopted a pit bull named Georgia after rescuing her from a storm drain, and former NFL quarterback Michael Vick, who was convicted of running a dog-fighting ring and later became an advocate for animal welfare. Other famous pit bulls include Sergeant Stubby, a decorated war dog who served in World War I, and Petey, the famous canine sidekick of the Little Rascals in the 1920s and 1930s.
