Pomeranian Products

The Pomeranian is a toy breed that originated in Pomerania, a region in Northern Europe. This breed is known for its small size, fluffy coat, and lively personality. They typically weigh between three to seven pounds and stand about six to seven inches tall at the shoulder. Pomeranians are affectionate, intelligent, and loyal dogs that make great companions.  The breed has a long history, with evidence suggesting that Pomeranians were bred from larger Spitz-type dogs. They were popular among European royalty in the 18th and 19th centuries, with Queen Victoria being a famous Pomeranian owner. During her reign, the size of Pomeranians was further reduced by selective breeding to create the smaller size that is now characteristic of the breed.  Pomeranians have also made their mark in popular culture. Boo, a Pomeranian with a teddy bear-like appearance, became an internet sensation and was often referred to as the world’s cutest dog. Another famous Pomeranian was Toto, who played Dorothy’s loyal companion in the film adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.  Today, Pomeranians are popular pets around the world and continue to be a beloved breed. Their small size and friendly nature make them well-suited for apartment living and for families with children.
