Schnauzer Products

All of these Schnauzer Products are handmade at Beau Designs. The Schnauzer is a breed of dog that originated in Germany in the 19th century. They were originally bred as farm dogs, but their intelligence and trainability made them a popular choice for many other purposes, including as guard dogs and as companions.  There are three sizes of Schnauzer: the Standard Schnauzer, the Miniature Schnauzer, and the Giant Schnauzer. They all have a distinctive look, with their signature bushy eyebrows and beards. Their coats can be a variety of colors, including black, salt, and pepper, and black and silver.  Famous owners of Schnauzers include the actor George Clooney, who has a Standard Schnauzer named Einstein, and the former United States President George W. Bush, who owned a black Miniature Schnauzer named Barney. The breed has also been featured in popular cultures, such as in the classic children’s book “The Poky Little Puppy,” which features a Schnauzer puppy as one of the characters.  Today, the Schnauzer remains a popular breed and is recognized by the American Kennel Club. They are known for their intelligence, trainability, and loyalty to their owners. With their distinctive appearance and friendly nature, the Schnauzer is a beloved breed that makes an excellent companion for families and individuals alike.
